Our program can function as a “first step” towards recovery from substance use, a “tune-up” following a short reoccurrence of use, or as a support for the transitions from a residential treatment center into the realities of life.
The typical length of our alcohol and drug addiction intensive outpatient program (IOP) is 6 weeks to 8 weeks, however, we are able to accommodate any specific needs regarding the length of the treatment program.
This Central Texas program consists of three-hour IOP sessions facilitated by licensed and credentialed staff, three evenings per week. Clients also receive, at minimum, one individual therapy session with a licensed counselor each week. Your behavioral health is an important aspect of your recovery. We utilize a variety of types of therapy, such as dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. We set up an individualized care plan for each patient because your mental health and relapse prevention, both during and after treatment, are extremely important to us! In an effort to better serve our clients’ needs, we are continuously working toward our goal of adding a partial hospitalization program to our list of recovery programs.
Participants in our intensive outpatient program are regularly given drug urinalysis tests through the program in order to maintain a safe space for recovery. We are a LegitScript certified program.
South Meadows Recovery was founded on the idea that recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction is attainable for all who seek it. That’s why our Austin intensive outpatient program is designed to meet your individualized needs in a way that is sustainable and realistic without the need for residential treatment.
Through our unique combination of 12-step recovery, life skills, and Clinical groups, we will provide you with all the necessary tools to build a foundation for lifelong recovery from alcohol and drugs.
