Being out-of-network means we don't have a contract with Cigna. Many Cigna PPO and Open Access Plus plans still pay part of the cost of care from providers outside their network, including outpatient addiction treatment.
Out-of-network care usually costs more than in-network care. Your plan may have a separate out-of-network deductible, higher coinsurance and a different out-of-pocket maximum. Our admissions team checks all of this for you and explains your expected costs up front, so there are no surprises.

Most structure
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–3 PM, for people who need daily structure and support.
Day or evening
Three 3-hour sessions a week, with daytime and evening tracks.

Weekly treatment and individual counseling as you step down into independent recovery.

Is South Meadows Recovery in-network with Cigna?
No. We are out-of-network with Cigna, but we accept Cigna plans that include out-of-network benefits.
Will my Cigna plan cover treatment here?
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, it may cover part of the cost of PHP, IOP or outpatient care when medically necessary. We verify your benefits for free before you start.
What will I pay with out-of-network benefits?
Usually more than with an in-network provider. Your cost depends on your out-of-network deductible, coinsurance and out-of-pocket maximum, and we walk you through the numbers before treatment begins.
I have a Cigna HMO or EPO plan. Can I still come here?
HMO and EPO plans generally don't cover out-of-network care outside of emergencies. Call us and we'll review your options, including self-pay.
Do you accept other PPO plans?
Yes. Besides our in-network plans, we accept other PPO plans that include out-of-network benefits for substance use treatment.
